I would have settled for just one or two fireworks to mark our wedding. Then were led outside and that's when I met Debbie and the rest of the shockwave team. I was handed a remote and asked to press the button... what followed took my breath away. My wonderful new husband and the Shockwave team had secretly been planning a display and I was completely oblivious. The fireworks were spectacular and perfectly timed to two of my favourite songs. They even went as far to ensure that the colours of the fireworks were my favourite too. It was an amazing end to the day and a perfect start to our marriage. I felt so special and the effort that the shockwave team went to in order to realise my husband's wedding gift to me is really touching. I would recommend them to anyone - hoping to have a similar display at our 10 year anniversary!  Phenomenal!

Looe New Years Eve Celebrations

"Authorities in Looe have praised revellers and organisers for helping make the New Year's Eve celebrations "the best ever".

Locals have also commended organisers of the firework display for providing the "best ever" show.

Thousands descended on the town to celebrate and see in the start of 2011.

The narrow streets were full of people in weird and wonderful fancy dress, with everything from cartoon characters to celebrities.

2011 was marked with a ten-minute firework display off Banjo Pier.

Michala Powell, who organises the display, said: "New Year's Eve was astounding. The police thought there were approximately 10,000 people on the seafront watching the fireworks, with probably another 2,000 at Hannafore.

This proves the display is bringing people into the town and helping the local economy. The atmosphere was fantastic and the night was absolutely brilliant."

Local resident and campaigner Dave Holford said: "Without a doubt, the display was the best seen. The seafront and Hannafore Lane were crowded with multitudes of revellers, all of whom were treated to a wonderful, exciting and brilliant firework display.

Mayor of Looe Councillor Jimmy Dingle added: "I've had a lot of feedback from locals about the success of the firework display. People have stopped me in the street and said how much they enjoyed it."

Girl Guides Centenary Party at Cheltenham Racecourse

"The event was led by our county commissioner, Susan Matthews, and Jess Brereton, the centenary champion.

It was really fantastic. The girls were able to see a DVD of events that had gone on during the year. We had Guiding songs, clowns on stilts and a fire juggling display.

"It ended with a fireworks display that was the best I've ever seen."

Dear Glen, Debs and all at Shockwave,

Once again you came up trumps with THE most spectacular firework display for my 50^th.  Everyone said how amazing it was, not just for the fireworks but the timing and the choice of individual fireworks that complimented all three of the film theme numbers.  Not one of the Thank you cards I received after the party failed to mention how the highlight of the evening was the fireworks.

One of my friends who makes films of events and has several blue chip corporations on her client list is going to contact you because she said the company they use just don’t compare with the display you put on for my party.

I also want to thank you for your sheer professionalism regarding the risk assessments and dealing with the farmer whose field we used.  There was no disruption at all and he was delighted his field was left in perfect condition after the display.

I look forward to the display you will do next year for us.

Thank you to Glen, you and everyone at Shockwave for the incredible display you put on for Robert’s 50^th on Saturday night at Callow Hall . 

I am so pleased that after looking at several firework display companies we chose Shockwave. It is always a gamble when you book something off the internet without knowing who you are really dealing with, but the service you provided from start to finish has been exemplary and of course the display was truly spectacular.  Two of the guests at the party live at Tatton Park and we attend the Tatton Park Halle Orchestra Firework Display concerts with them every year.  They commented “This is better than Tatton” and several guests agreed.

The choreography and timing of the fireworks to each piece of music we chose were literally works of art,  everything just seemed to flow in time to the music, another guest described it as “awesome,” each piece of music got better and better but  the finale was really breathtaking.

A massive thank you for a fantastic display, many people have said that it was the best in the area.

I thought you might like to know that the two neighbouring villages watched our fireworks whilst theirs was going on!!!!! One person in Lower Stondon  (over 2 miles away) just happened to open her window to see the finale and she even heard our crowd cheer!!!!!!!! many residents in Meppershall (3 miles away) were watching our fireworks whilst they were at their village fireworks and have said that next year they are coming to watch ours as they were much better!!!

We found Shockwave Pyrotechnics on Google, and after a few emails and a phone conversation, we met up with Glen and Debs at our venue in advance to discuss fireworks. From that moment on we knew we were in safe hands; our verbal descriptions of what we wanted were brilliantly interpreted and the fireworks were AMAZING! Glen and Debs worked tirelessly throughout the afternoon setting them up and then on into the night packing away. We had an excellent day, but the fireworks were the icing on the cake – better than any firework display we’ve been to. My wife especially loved the remote control device she was given to start them! Hinwick Hall College - An independent college for young adults with exceptional needs

How can we say a thank you that is sufficient to describe the experience you provided us with? Words seem so inadequate. The occasion has however passed into the Hinwick Folklore. This was a "proper" Fireworks Display enjoyed incidentally not only by everyone there, but also many of our neighbours in Podington! Lots of staff commented on the fact that it was better then most public displays they have attended. You enabled all of our students, staff and families to be part of something very special. I suspect we will be reflecting on the night for some time. Can I also say a special thanks for your sensitive selection of Fireworks, our more complex young people had an extremely sensory experience, just what they need and done in a spectacular way.
