Victorias Wedding in Cornwall

We really enjoyed the fireworks display and it certainly did add a wow factor to the evening. Luckily it stopped raining just in time so everyone could stand outside to watch them. Loads of people have commented since on how good the display was. It was really wet and windy so James and the crew did a fantastic job. It couldn't have been much fun setting them up. We thought the whole service was brilliant. You kept in touch and organised everything and left us nothing to worry about.

We all thought the show was fantastic as did our guests. The display was a great finale to a great day, and I think I can safely say that I was blown away with the display and went away thinking it was worth every penny.

I'm struggling to find anything that you might improve on. You dealt with everything with the venue owners. You stayed in regular touch from day one. You gave me a good understanding of what I could have, asked some good questions about what I wanted the display to contain and more than met expectations with the display. I also saw fireworks I'd never seen before. Given what I paid I was really impressed.

Many Thanks to Alan and Claire for these Kind Words......

Having decided to put on a firework display for my step-daughters wedding, and after some internet research and a few e-mails and phone calls I eventually contacted Glen at Shockwave Pyrotechnics. This was approximately 6 months before the wedding. I immediately felt totally confident that Shockwave was exactly what was required.

Weddings are such high pressure events where everything has to be absolutely perfect on the day that being able to leave the job entirely to Glen was essential.
As it turned out I could not have been in better hands, we had some conversations about budgets, times and any preferences/ themes for the display. My wifes family are Singaporean and so red was to be a key feature of the display as it is deemed as a very auspicious colour in Chinese society.
Glen explained that he would design the display and do all the necessary site inspections, risk assessments and other paperwork in liaison with the events co-ordinator at the Matara Centre.

June was one of the wettest months on record and the day before the wedding we drove down to Somerset in something akin to a monsoon, however Saturday looked as if it might just be OK or at least dry.
As arranged, Glen and his team arrived at midday and were busy setting up during the afternoon for the display at 22:20hrs.
With around 100 guests to entertain, the pressure was really on to produce the goods.
We were not to be disappointed and had an incredible display, professionally presented and executed.
Glen even made some customised lance work with a heart and the bride and grooms initials as a surprise which was a nice touch.
Perfect!!.

Anyone looking for a display company could not do better than Shockwave. Glen and his team are to be congratulated on a first class job.
